£3,000 donated to local Children’s Wards

£3,000 donated to local Children’s Wards
29th April 2019

As part of our 2018 fundraising we partnered with three local Hospitals – City Hospital in Nottingham, King’s Mill Hospital in Mansfield and Bassetlaw Hospital in Worksop. Throughout the year we raised over £6,000 and put this towards purchasing resources for the Children’s Wards within those hospitals. We were able to purchase Samsung tablets, sensory toys and DVDs to make children’s experiences in hospital more comfortable and the best it can be.

In addition to the donations we have been able to donate a further £1,000 to each of the hospitals. Physical cheques have been presented to City Hospital in Nottingham and King’s Mill Hospital in Mansfield (pictured above) to enable them to continue the work they do. £1,000 Argos vouchers have been donated to Bassetlaw Hospital in Worksop, as these were requested to purchase even more items off the Children’s Ward “wish list”.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our children, families and colleagues for your support in 2018 in raising so much to help make children and their families time in hospital a more comfortable one. Since 2014 you have helped us raise over £40,000 for local and national charities and causes – thank you.
