Nursery Chef

Contract type: Permanent Hours: 30 per week Salary: £9.0 - £9.25 per hour

As a Nursery Chef, you will be responsible for preparing healthy and nutritious snacks and meals for all children by accurately following Cherubs Nurseries Menus. You will carefully adapt these for young babies and those with allergies or dietary requirements, ensuring their individual needs are met. On a daily basis, you will take ownership of the successful running of the kitchen following both Cherubs Nurseries and Government food safety guidelines. You will undertake all kitchen-related duties including washing up, cleaning and food preparation, cooking and record keeping. An understanding of food safety and what this means in the workplace is essential. Experience of cooking for babies and young children would be advantageous but is not essential. A full UK driving licence or close proximity to the nursery is essential for this role and you may be required to cover at close by nurseries to cover absence when needed.

As a Qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator, you will apply your in-depth knowledge and early years’ experience to deliver all aspects of our service, including planning and facilitating purposeful learning opportunities, meeting each child’s individual needs through close monitoring and observations and ensuring our high standards are maintained in all areas of your nursery setting. Alongside this, you will effectively collaborate and support the Senior Early Years Educators whilst being a role model to those Educators training towards their qualification. You will also have the opportunity to be responsible for a Designated Role such as SENDCO and access a pathway of continuous professional and personal development to support your career goals and progression with Cherubs Nurseries.

Maintenance Person

As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for providing reactive support to our nurseries to ensure they remain safe and presentable places. You will put your trade and expertise to use when it comes to refurbishing our nurseries, taking pride in your work to create beautiful, functional and inspiring spaces. An awareness of cost and procurement would be advantageous but not essential. You must be physically fit and hold a full UK driving licence.

Nursery Manager

Contract type: Permanent Hours: 40 per week Salary: £23000 - £28000 per hour

As a Nursery Manager, you will draw on your passion for early years education, extensive experience, proven track record and knowledge of the sector to drive the success, high performance and sustainability of your nursery setting. Qualified to at least Level 3 in Childcare, you will inspire, lead and motivate your team to successfully support the nursery whilst role modelling best practice in early years education, resulting in a strong and self-directed team. Alongside this, you will carefully prioritise and take ownership of all office-based and business-related duties to ensure a safe, compliant, high performing and sustainable nursery business, in close collaboration with the Assistant Nursery Manager supported by the Senior Management Team. Key to the success of this role is balancing the needs of all stakeholders including children, their families, staff and our regulator, Ofsted. In this role, continuous professional and personal development is an essential part to maintain up to date to relevant knowledge. A qualification in Assessing is advantageous but not essential.

Wraparound Care Lead

As a Wraparound Care Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of our off-site Wraparound Care service.
