Our Story

My partner John and I opened Cherubs Day Nursery, Executive House, in January 1993. I was expecting my first child at the time, and none of the nurseries I viewed had everything I was looking for. I wanted a bright, stimulating, safe environment with friendly, caring, experienced staff. I realised that what I was looking for did not exist; so I had no choice but to set up my own nursery.

By the end of the second year, the nursery was reaching full capacity, and I was expecting twins, so we opened another nursery on the same road to accommodate my own children and those on the waiting list. Cherubs Nurseries now operates 12-nurseries across the East Midlands – with more coming soon.

Inspired operators and managers run Cherubs Nurseries and ensure that our care and education are the best they can be. However, the initial aims and objectives of our first nursery have been woven into the fabric of every nursery we have opened since. Our vision is to give all children the skills and experiences they need to take on the world, without limitations. Our quality has been proven by regularly achieving outstanding Ofsted reports, industry awards and accreditations.

You are always welcome to visit our nurseries without an appointment, however we ask that you avoid busy and meal times. If you have any questions or need to find your closest Cherubs Nursery, we have a dedicated Parent Experience Team who are here to help you every step of the way. They can be contacted from 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday, at 0330 0553373 or at parents@cherubsnurseries.com.

I recommend that you visit other early years learning centres before coming to us. I’m confident that you will find Cherubs Nurseries the best choice for your childcare needs and the best early years experience for your little one.
