Celebrating Nursery Practitioner Day

The 17th October is known in the Early Year’s sector as Nursery Practitioner Day. Just like we have celebrations in other sectors to appreciate the hard work of the individuals that work in them, Little Pioneers (previously Co-Op Childcare) established Nursery Practitioner Day in 2018 to celebrate the amazing work the people involved in the early year’s sector do.

This year we have decided to go one step further and stretch the day out into a week. Since Monday we have been celebrating across all our nurseries. All our nurseries have set up appreciation stations where parents can leave messages of thanks for the team. We also have personalised nursery practitioner stand ins, where children can get their photographs taken. To say thank you to the team we have also organised a series of treats throughout the week and have given each nursery money towards a night out for the team. Some have organised pizza deliveries after work where others are heading out for a well-deserved drink after work.

Speaking about the day, Susan (our Managing Director) said “We have an incredibly talented and hard working team at Cherubs Nurseries. We take every opportunity to recognise and reward our team for their work. In addition to celebrating throughout Nursery Practitioner Week, our team get a whole host of benefits not just for being part of Cherubs Nurseries but for their dedicated service, hard work and performance.”
