Cherubs Nurseries announces Young Minds as 2020 partner

Since 2014 we have worked with a variety of charities and causes, as part of our commitment to make the communities we serve better places ton live, work and grow up in. Since 2014, we have raised over £50,000 for charities and causes including Theodora Children’s Charity, Rainbows Children’s Hospice and Children in Need. After consultation with our parents, staff and children we are proud to announce Young Minds as our partner for 2020.

Young Minds are leading the fight for a future where all young minds are supported and empowered, whatever the challenges. Their aim is to make sure children of all ages get the best possible mental health support and have the resilience to overcome life’s difficulties. The crisis in children and young people’s mental health is real and it is urgent. More children and young people than ever before are reaching out for help with their mental health. But for those who take that brave step, help is much too hard to find. Young Minds also have their very own parent support line. The support line offers advice and guidance to parents whose children are experiencing issues with their mental health. With our support, the charity will be able to ensure even more young minds are supported and empowered, whatever the challenges.

Susan Mills, Managing Director said “We are proud to announce our partnership with Young Minds. Mental Health is something many of us will experience throughout our lives, including our children, parents, families and team members. To be able to help increase awareness and fund support is something I am looking forward to being a part of.”

Throughout 2020 we will aim to fundraise as much as possible through fundraising and sponsored events at all our nurseries, with a target of £10,000. To find out more about Young Minds please click here.
