Double nomination at this year’s Nursery Management Today Awards

At Cherubs Nurseries, celebrating our people is key in building a culture where everyone feels valued. Each year, we select individuals to nominate for industry awards. We recently entered the Nursery Management Today awards and are proud to share that Lisa Callaghan (Nursery Chef at Cherubs Wynndale) has been shortlisted for Nursery Chef of the Year and Cherubs Nurseries for Nursery Group (over 10 settings) of the Year.
Following the announcement and news that she had been shortlisted, Lisa said “I am thrilled to find out I have been nominated for Nursery Chef of the Year. I would like to thank everyone at Cherubs Nurseries for always supporting me and giving so many opportunities to further my career with them.”
Harry Mills (Chief Brand Officer) who prepared this year’s nominations added “Every year, our nominations allow us another opportunity to spotlight and celebrate our amazing people. When putting these nominations together it doesn’t just highlight what the individual has done, but brings together feedback from their managers, colleagues and parents too. When combined, these nominations make for inspirational reading and make us incredibly proud to have such talent working for us and inspiring the next generation. I would also like to recognise those who we nominated but were not shortlisted:
Becky Whyle – Nursery Manager of the Year
Kayley Martin – Nursery Manager of the Year
Laura Richardson – Deputy Nursery Manager of the Year
The SENCo Award – Laura Bowler
Jess Fudger – Nursery Childcare/Practitioner of the Year
Shannon Bennett – Nursery Childcare/Practitioner of the Year
Lisa Callaghan – Nursery Chef of the Year
Cherubs Nurseries – Nursery Group (Over 10 settings) of the Year”
Lisa will join her Nursery Manager and the Cherubs Nurseries Senior Management Team on Saturday 25th November at the ExCeL in London for the Awards Ceremony. Ahead of the ceremony, we would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone else who has been shortlisted the very best of luck.
